This painting was inspired by windmills and Monet's haystacks paintings. It influenced my subject matter because he did everyday things that you could go out and sit while painting. I loved how the windmill wasn't very detailed because of the sun setting in the background. It gave it a mysterious effect and I really enjoyed painting in such a loose style. I definitely think I will paint more in this kind of style it was very fun and it still turns out really well.By: Ashley Rastetter
